Learn to Brew at Home
Jared Englund, co-founder of Lion Heart Kombucha, has taught hundreds of Portlanders to safely brew at home since 2009. At the class you will learn the history and science of Kombucha, how to make an easy 1-gallon batch at home, and also how to scale up to larger batches, flavor, and carbonate your brew.

If you have never brewed before, great! If you have made 100 batches, great! You will take big steps toward making the best Kombucha possible no matter what your experience level. The class is $20, which includes SCOBY culture and unlimited Kombucha to sample. Brewing supplies will also be available for purchase.
